How we help organisations

Conscious Leadership

Don’t look outside yourself for the leader.
— The Hopi Elders

Leadership is for everyone.  Not just those at the top of the organisation that have leadership bestowed upon them, but all human beings who need to manage ourselves from one place to another.  All of us.

Conscious leadership puts responsibility into the heart of everything we do. We teach individuals how they can choose their vision, act with purpose, create a responsible outcome and deliver a positive impact.

We teach teams to come together in a non-competitive way to meet both the individual and collective needs.  To communicate openly and engage positively to create outcomes to suit everyone.

  • Understanding the role of leadership in your life and work
  • Analysing and incorporating different leadership styles
  • Determining your personal leadership qualities and style
  • Identifying how to maintain a leadership focus in everything
  • Learning how to apply leadership to others
  • Follow-up check in sessions and coaching.
“At the deepest level, a leader is the symbolic soul of the group. His role is to fulfill the needs of others and, when each need is met, to lead the group on to fulfill ever higher needs, lifting the group’s potential at every step. The inspired leader’s power base comes not from other people but from her very being, and the path she walks is guided by her own soul. Its hallmarks are creativity, intelligence, organizing power, and love.”

— from "The Soul of Leadership: Unlocking Your Potential for Greatness" by Deepak Chopra

Employee Wellbeing

Remember to secure your own oxygen mask before
helping other people
— Delta Airlines Safety Briefing

Starting from the principle that you can only bring the best to your work if you are in good shape.  Working with you to determine how to work in your own time - to take time and space to tune into your own needs, set your own pace, find what works for you then focus on bringing your best work into the world.  Getting better results through working slow.

Slow does not mean lazy.  Slow to us means mindful, careful, aware.  Walking strongly and purposefully towards your target instead of hurtling carelessly without sight of your destination.  Taking time to choose your response to events and determine when to act so that you get the results you want.  Understanding that your time is precious and should be used in the best way for you.  Knowing that you have all the time you need to do everything you want.

Summary of methods and services

  • Understanding your own needs and how to meet them responsibly
  • Finding your own pace for work - when to resource, when to source and when to rest
  • Being aware and focused on what works for you while retaining flexibility and adaptability
  • Using what your body is telling you to bring your best self into the world.

Employee Retreat packages

If you slow things down, you notice things you hadn’t seen before.
— Robert Wilson

The time that we are too busy to stop is the time we should stop.  Sometimes doing nothing is the most productive thing you can do.  To still your busy mind and create space for the thoughts that matter to come to you.  To get perspective and to understand our discomfort and allow the solution to arrive, instead of forcing a solution that may not be right.  To focus on rest, get the stress out of our body and allow our true feelings to emerge.

We offer individual personal retreats for employees and business owners.  In partnership with our sister organisation The House and The Hill Mountain Retreat, located in the foothills of the French Pyrenees we work with you over a series of days to get you ready for your next challenge.  Spending time in nature interspersed with coaching and business planning, we respond to your needs as and when you need us.
